The pattern is inspired the words of the greatest folk singer and songwriter in music history. As architects, we at eQ are interested in the investigation of material and space. We are curious in the what develops in the space between letters. This work investigates the "counters" and how we perceive a font or lyric. Its a negative and a positive...or maybe just a positive. At eQ, we make many things, all day....but there is something so special about the East Village Scarf; Maybe you're a Dylan fan or maybe it reminds you of cold grey blustery days or hipster NY and the 60's. Dylan's talent to write meaningfull stories, not just structured songs....caused us to widen our scarf design to 11" to fit the entire "Mr. Tamborine Man" lyrics.
