Studio eQ offers custom laser-cut and laser-etched portfolios and books for customers looking to showcase their artwork, project or memories.

We offer custom portfolios in a variety of materials including bamboo, birch, teak, anodized aluminum, stainless steel & acrylic

Fitting Your Pages

Our portfolios and presentation books accept pages in three ways:

Our 'Lie-Flat' style books use standard size pages (8.5" x 11", 11" x 14", 11" x 17") from companies like Itoya or Prat that allow you to bind plastic page inserts into your book. These pages allow you to change page content easily without disassembling the book.

Our 'Direct-Fit' style books accept standard 3-hole punched pages directly, creating a sleek book with smaller margins than the Lie-Flat.

Our 'Tru-View' style books use adhesive page binding strips to allow a full dimension page view, with an added inch margin for the binding strip and screw post hardware. All three book styles showcase your content in a unique, customized book that will last for years to come.

Lining and Hinge

All of our portfolios and presentation books (except for acrylic 3-ring binders) are lined with calfskin leather which adds a natural and sturdy feel to the books. The leather acts a hinge when the book is opened, allowing the covers to lie nearly flat. Each book is constructed with high quality materials and is meant to be a lasting showcase of your work.

Binding

Studio eQ's laser-etched books are bound with 3 aluminum 'chicago-style, blind' screw posts in 3/8" standard, additional post lengths are available if required.

How Does The Process Work?

Design your book using our template and upload your artwork, along with your desired options. Once checkout is complete we will send a digital proof confirming artwork location. Once approved we will produce your book and ship it soon as it is complete. That's it!
